Prop Weapon Policy

The Summer Festival is an all-ages event. Please respect fellow festival-goers!

While we encourage cosplaying, to maintain a safe environment at the same time, we establish Prop Weapon Policy. Please review it carefully.

❤ Peacebonding

All weapon props MUST be peacebonded at the Peacebonding Stations or the Information Booth.

⚔ Bladed Weapons

If your weapon is metal and can cut or had/has potential to cut, it is NOT allowed.

🏹 Projectile Weapons

Functioning or previously functioning portion thereof (including, but not limited to, AirSoft, NERF, or pellet guns) will NOT be allowed.

❓ Unorthodox Weapons

Unorthodox weapons will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Any prop deemed too dangerous for the event will be removed from or confiscated till the end of the event.

⚖ Limitation of Liability

SFU Anime and related affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury. All staff, vendors and attendees are responsible for their individual actions and any repercussions that may occur. Civil or medical emergencies are to be handled directly by the proper authorities.
