Code of Conduct

The Summer Festival is an all-ages event. Please respect fellow festival-goers!

In order for us to ensure everyone’s safety in The Summer Festival, we establish the following Code of Conduct. Please review our code below.

📷 Photography

Photography is allowed at The Summer Festival, permitting that it does not disrupt organized stage events or impede the flow of foot traffic at the venue.

‼ Please be considerate and ask first before taking pictures of cosplayers, staff, vendors, their tables, or the general public.

❌ Intolerable Actions

What will absolutely not be tolerated at The Summer Festival:

  • Engaging in disruptive and unsafe behavior that disrupts attendees, vendors or staff.
  • Physical or verbal harassment of the attendees, vendors or staff.
  • Any act which could result in substantial risk or harm to people or property.
  • Sexual Misconduct, such as indecent exposure, offensive touching, or sexual harassment.
  • Engaging in any activity prohibited by law.
  • Possession of any item defined as a weapon, illegal or not.

⚖ Limitation of Liability

SFU Anime and related affiliates are not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury. All staff, vendors and attendees are responsible for their individual actions and any repercussions that may occur. Civil or medical emergencies are to be handled directly by the proper authorities.
